The Ski Shirt (SH-CRRD-001) has elusive origins, not as easily traceable as the remainder of the S H line. Our best shot at investigation suggests that it is an adaptation of vintage ski patrol vests, as seen with its unique 6 pocket structure.
Each distinct S H Shirt style sports a blank, white “logo” tab and a label on the placket. For this series of shirts, S H Shirt uses a cotton fabric woven on Schönherr machines - a vintage loom becoming increasingly rare due to its slowness and inefficiency relative to its modern counterparts. However, the loom is prized for its traditional shuttles that produce a distinct, supple fabric that improves in texture with wash and wear.
